NEW SHOW!

We have confirmed that Jesus Chrysler will be back at Jacks On Mille Lacs On May 19th and 20th. Two nights of destruction and debauchury. So bring your sleeping bag cause when this ones over you even be able to find your car nonetheless drive it!

NEW SHOW, PHOTO'S AND NEWS!

Some of the pics from the most recent JC photo shoot can be seen HERE! The boys send their thanks to Ben and Josh (Joshua if you ask Bakko) for the great work. And the great time. Picture sessions can be boring that's why you bring booze!

Also they will be shaking their collective asses for the folks at DOC'S LANDING on April 26th. Make sure you all come out and rock with JC that magnificent day. Mucis starts at 8:30 and goes until midnight!

And finally Bakko recently spent some time with former JC drummer and fan favorite Shaggz. Turns out he is going to the Gulf area soon to help with some reconstruction of houses. Good luck with that and we all miss you here at JC.net. We'd love to hear from you! Well that's all for now!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... WE HAVE A BASS PLAYER

We here at JC.net are pleased to announce that Knuckles has agreed to join the band full time. Those of you at the Vanishing Point show earlier this month saw him fill in for Dino. He has since become a full on member. Treble had this to say about the addition. "Was he the best choice. No. But we didn't really want to keep looking. So we locked him in a closet for a few days. And I don't know if it was the starvation, the constant whippings or the chinese water torture but something made him see it our way. And we couldn't be happier." Bakko and Duffy couldn't be reached for comment as they were attending a Matt Damon film festival.

Seriuosly it's great to have Knuckles on board and the boat is once gain afloat!

DINO OUT

Dino has claimed a break from music is what he needs right now. Those of you who attended the show last Saturday saw an old friend fill for the night. HURRICANE RELIEF AND NEWS

Thanks to all at JACKS MILLE LACS this last weekend. The boys had fun. We here at JC.NET urge everyone to do what they can to help all of those who who try to get by in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. There are many options which most of you are more than likely aware of. For as little as $5 you can help at THE RED CROSS. Do what you can. This is America. We will get through it.

BACK AT JACKS AGAIN

Thanks to all who showed up last weekend at Jack on Mile Lacs. The boys are pleased to let everyone know they are coming back again on Labor Day weekend for two shows. Saturday and Sunday. JESUS CHRYSLER AT THE ROCK!

The boys will be playing an opening set this Saturday the 30th at the THE ROCK NIGHTCLUB in Maplewood. They go on at 9:15 and will play for one hour. This is the first Twin Cities show for the band in a long time. So pass it on and come out to see all the new and improved offering JC has for you.

IT'S COMING!

All ya'll better get on up to the first annual Mille Lacs Metal Madness on June 18th. Jesus Chrysler is back and ready to blow the doors off with our friends in Si6ks and many others. DINO LOSES OPUT TO SOME OLD GERMAN DUDE!

The catholic church blew again recently when they passed on Jesus Chrysler bassist Dino to be the new pope. Some old guy that none of us here at jc.net have ever heard of from Germany got the gig. "I'm not exactly sure if I'm upset or not. I mean yeah it would've been cool but I'm not even Catholic for christ's sake!" said Dino. Word is that had he been selected Dino would've take the name of Pope Lando II in honor of the fact that that is one cool ass Pope name.

DINO AMONG POPE FINALISTS!

Vatican City, ITALY. The Vatican announced its lists of finalist’s to replace the pope. And on that list was Jesus Chrysler Bassist Dino. “Being as how I haven’t gone to church in decades I’m as surprised as anyone.” Said Dino. “I guess I’d do it as long as the Vatican realizes that we practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and any gigs that come up I’m busy! Any popely duties will have to take a back-seat to Jesus Chrysler.” No word from other members of the band. The Vatican is expected to make a decision soon.

HERE WE ARE

Well let’s review what was to be 2004 for Jesus Chrysler. Shaggz disappeared for about a month at the end of January, beginning of February. In March REVV informed us he may be joining another band. In April he informed us he was joining another band. In June Kat joined. In July Kat quit. In August Knuckles joined us for our only show of the year in Claremont for the 2004 Hogfest. In September Shaggz joined another band. In October Shaggz quit. In November Duffy and Dino joined on drums and bass. And here we are. Soon I may be posting the History Of Chrysler as I remember it. And we hope to be revamping the web page as we have revamped the whole lineup. With Shaggz gone I was unsure of what to do with the name. This is what I came up with. Shaggz and I started this together 6 years ago. Both of us achieved more than we ever thought or had prior. We may not have changed the world but we sure rocked it a few times. I am now and always will be tied to that guy in one way or another. We shared a vision and did all we could to achieve it. We may not have reached our goal but we weren’t on the sideline watching. All the while surrounded by copy-cats and those lacking originality. Far too afraid to try it a different way. I will treasure the time we spent together and he will be missed by not only those of us in the band but anyone who met him at one of our shows. He will maintain a page here jc.net. That being said, let’s not blow this out of proportion. He’s not dead. He wasn’t kicked out. He moved. It became hard for him to make practice. So he quit. These things happen. Treble’s been with the band for almost two years now. We have an established name. Changing it just doesn’t seem to make sense. I hope everyone will understand. We hope to continue to entertain people and just carry on with the fun spirit and attitude that we always have. Thanks again and if you get a chance to see Shaggz in his new band do so. BAKKO HERE!!

Well I have no plans for the weekend and I'm bored. I thought maybe some of you would like a sample of some of the hate mail I get regarding the name of our band. It proves two things I've known to be true. Only a devout christian would be offened by our name. Anyone who thinks we're Christian Rock isn't very religious (or bright). HOGFEST THIS WEEKEND!!

Here is the scoop on the big Hogfest show. Music on the Countryside Motorcyle stage will begin around 5:30. Opening will be Buzzard Gravy. After JC will take the stage around 7:00. They will be playing two sets for sure. Possibly a third. The first set will be an all original set. So if you want to get your JC fix in make sure you’re there in time. The second set will be a largely cover set. This is being done for Hogfest and will be the first time JC has ever done this many covers in a set. Done Chrysler style. After that if time permits they will hit the stage for a third set that will more than likely be a mix of covers and JC originals. So if you don’t know how to get there HERE'S a map. Claremont has no idea what they got themselves into!

NEW SHOW AND SOME NEWS!

Jesus Chrysler will playing the 2004 Hogfest in Claremont MN on August 7th. This is their first show in quite a while and of course everyone is encouraged to come out. They will playing at Countryside Motorcycles at 103 Northeast ST. in Claremont MN. Outside if the wheather is nice and inside if it ain't. Beer and food will be all over so come early and stay late. In other news, after having a bass player for almost a whole month, KATT has decided to not be in Jesus Chrysler any longer. So who's playing bass for them now? Who fuckin' knows. As soon as we get word we'll tell ya. As for why, well mom always said something along the lines of if you can't say something nice... let's just say we wish her the best.

REVV QUITS JESUS CHRYSLER!!!

REVV has ended his year and a half stint as the bass player and all around wierdo in Jesus Chrysler. The band has kept this quiet while they searched for a replacement. "Tryouts sucked! I want to start a support group simply for people who have gone through this. We almost settled on a couple guys before we made our final decision." Stated Bakko. "The three of us are glad it's over and can't wait to finally play a show again!" The official announcement on the replacement will be made next week and of course all of the news, pics and intros will be right here.
As for REVV's future. He has joined Twin Cities band All The Pretty Horses. His name in this band is Tempest. We encourage everyone to check out a show. It will defiantly be worth it. You can find all of your Tempest, Horses news and info HERE
